The destructive violence between Israel and the Palestinians has shocked the world. A generalized sense of injustice and insecurity has compelled citizens with different sensibilities to take a stance. The atmosphere of agitation and suspicion towards each other’s motives has led to deep polarization. The Israeli-Palestinian Dialogue of Montreal (IPAD Montréal) aims to facilitate deep and candid conversations among individuals from all sides of the divide.
We are currently seeking participants to take part in a dialogue process comprised of one preparatory meeting and three dialogue sessions. All meetings will be led by two facilitators. The aim is to explore constructive ways of talking about perspectives and experiences.
Confidentiality: The content of the meetings will be kept strictly confidential. We want to ensure that all participants feel safe to express their point of view.
Multipartiality: The process is conducted so as to proactively support all participants towards the satisfaction of their needs and interests.
Integrative approach: The process is facilitated so as to move towards the integration of all perspectives by taking into account the needs, interests and sensitivities of all participants.
